The Audax Ventus Explorer-in-Residence Program is for experienced professionals, thought leaders, and creative visionaries who don’t just want to explore—they want to leave a legacy.
If you’re a marine biologist, documentarian, Indigenous knowledge keeper, technologist, artist, educator, or activist, this is your space to deepen your work, mentor others, and contribute meaningfully to a living mission of science, storytelling, and justice.

We welcome people with:
We strongly encourage applications from Indigenous, Global South, and LGBTQIA+ communities.

Let the wind carry your work—and your wisdom—into the world.
The Wind Is Bold. So Are We.
Audax Ventus sails to the edges of the map, where ecosystems are under siege and frontline voices go unheard. We document the truth, share it with the world, and stand with those fighting to protect their home waters.
Your donation keeps the sails full, the cameras rolling, and the stories alive.
Stand with us. Sail for change. Donate today.
At sea, but always reachable.
